Camping Arolla

Update:

Following the permanent closure of Camping Arolla due to natural hazards, a temporary camping area is now open pending the construction of the new campsite. It is located right next to the Aiguille de la Tza Hotel-Restaurant.

It is equipped with portable toilets and is intended for motorhomes and vans. A small area is available for tents.

The rate per night is CHF 20 per vehicle, plus tourist tax (CHF 1.10 per adult and CHF 0.55 per child). For tents, the rate is CHF 15 per night (+ tourist tax).

Showers are available on request at the Aiguille de la Tza Hotel at a rate of CHF 8. This area will be in place from the end of July 2025 until further notice (more information at www.camping-arolla.ch).

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that we are closing the campsite this Sunday 13 July. Following the severe storms of June 2024, a new analysis of natural hazards is underway and the authorities have decided that the site is no longer safe for visitors. Your safety is our absolute priority and we respect this decision. This news comes as a real shock, but nature is stronger than we are today.

We are currently in discussions for an alternative site to continue this summer season. We will publish news when we have it.

In the meantime, we hope that you will have wonderful memories of this enchanting place and we sincerely hope that we will soon be able to create new ones together.
