Camping Füllmattli

The Füllmattli tent and caravan site is nestled in the beautiful landscape at the foot of the Fribourg Pre-Alps, at 780 m above sea level. It offers relaxation 365 days a year due to its quiet location far from any through road. The village of Plaffeien with shopping facilities, restaurants and gas station is about 2 km away.

On the wide natural meadow, which gently slopes down to the river, there are several beautiful sites for tents and caravans - all with a unique view of the foothills of the Alps. Caravans can be connected to the electricity network on this site. 

The location directly at the wild-romantic riverbed of the Sense offers space for many activities: In summer, for example, swimming and fishing in the clear waters of the Sense, or hiking on one of the many marked hiking trails directly from the campsite. If you want to go higher, you will find chairlifts only a few kilometers away in the beautiful Schwarzsee area. Fitness or horseback riding facilities are also available. For further excursions there are many attractive destinations: Gruyères Castle, Servion Zoo or one of the many interesting museums.

Directions: Motorway Bern - Fribourg, exit Düdingen, direction Schwarzsee until Plaffeien. At the traffic circle turn left (signposted), then 2 km to the campsite.
