Necessity is the mother of invention: Since the lake simply does not reach to Amriswil, the political municipality of Amriswil bought a camping site in Uttwil. This offers space for 52 campers directly on the lakeside cycle path and is home to an attractive restaurant.
With its good infrastructure and the restaurant, the campsite is a popular vacation destination and an ideal place of recreation for young and old.
