The permanent campsite is nestled between the banks of the High Rhine. In the immediate vicinity are the towns of Stein am Rhein and Schaffhausen.
The camping site has been managed for 50 years by the company Gebrüder Hausammann AG from Uttwil/ TG. It comprises 89 plots in different sizes. All plots have electricity, water and sewage connections. Furthermore, a well-maintained pool area and the restaurant "Chämihütte" belong to the campsite.
In the sanitary building there are toilets, showers, washing machines and tumble dryers.
